Enrichment Activity

I'm the Enrichment Activity Leader in my church ward and these are the crafts I had us do for our December Enrichment Activity.
Families are Forever
This was the big craft. I had a member from the ward cut the boards for us and I had a member from New Mexico do the lettering. You can go to her site called sayitonthewall.com. When you go to this site she has a place where you can click on her blog and see all the things she offers. This was a fun project.

Next was the 12 days of Christmas bag. This is so neat!! You decorate your bag and then you roll up twelve different Christmas stories and put them in the bag. and then on the 13th day of December you start pulling out a story and reading it with your family.

The saying on the bag says:
On the first day of Christmas, I bring this gift to you,
So that the true spirit of Christmas can join you this year too.
Now throughout this holiday season, as the days get hectic and long,
choose one paper each night--it doesn't matter which, none will be wrong.
Sit down quietly at the end of each day, read a special Christmas story,
And feel the spirit tell you that Jesus was born in glory!
By just reading one each day from Dec. 13th till Christmas Eve,
You will feel the spirit in your home improve because you believe!!
These are magnets! They were easy to do! You use clear rocks, magnets and wrapping paper or scrapbooking paper. You cut the paper in the shape of the rock. Then use used clear adheasive stickers like you use for scrapbooking to tape the paper on the rock. Then you do the same for the magnet!!
I really had fun with this Enrichment activity! Even if the wording didn't come in on time!!! It was a blast!! I'm very Thankful for all the sisters that helped.
Oh!!! We also had a dessert contest!! That was fun too!!!!
Happy Holidays to all!!!!!
